| It is a real shame that this forum lacks a mass appeal - as not quite as 'new' now, I'm afraid I have to confess that if new members join they may well feel intimidated by some of you. Only a few and you have many good things to say, but it seems very easy to upset / offend you, with things being taken the wrong way? |

NM, I joined the old Argus forum a few years ago, and some of the folks there then were a lot more feisty than what we`ve got here on this forum. I think that was why I stayed...sheer defiance, and it made things Interesting. I confess I only joined to have a good argument about one topic, but over the months and years some of the other posters became Friends. LTNS is one of the folks I argued with a lot, but also one I regard as a Friend. So, wherever he is, and whatever reason for his absence from posting here, I do really hope he`s still looking in, otherwise it`s pointless me saying `COME ON BACK, LT, YOU DEAR OLD DAFTIE.` I miss you, and so do other folks, apparently. That doesn`t mean I`m going to agree unless I happen to agree, nor be nice unless I`m in a being nice mood. Equally, I don`t mean `Come back and be Nice`, just come back and be LTNS. |

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but is it beyond the bounds of reason that pathetic corrupt Blair and Bush have finally had enough, contacted their freinds in the Intelligence services and arranged for a spot of rendition for LTNS?
From what has happened in the last few years I doubt LT has anything to worry about with either the UK or US "Intelligence" services...
However, getting on the wrong side of Walmart/Tesco could be very serious indeed... |

I miss him. If you are reading this LT, stop sulking and come back. It's not the same around here without you.
LTNS is unique.
His stacatto style has no equal.

Perhaps the Answer to the Mystery is Simple.
LTNS had had to Take his Keyboard to the Repair Shop Because the Upper Case key has got Stuck.
Much Use.

Thanks fluffy, I will stay with this Forum for a while I expect! I was really glad when I started here as others I have been involved with are normally very subject specific. This is what makes THIS forum a selling point. It is a shame that more people aren't involved, especially as the Argus is a hugely popular local. Better advertising for the Forum springs to mind, but it is a grey area - ideally it would be a great forum between say 30 subscribers, but 300? |
