Small areas were due - but nothing so like you say belly up.
All you notice is if you go for a Coffee it has WiFi within that store. Or even Hotels.
It may also be a Tech problem you have to keep connecting and Pathetic Vista has made it 1000 times worse. You would be mad to use a Credit Card while on WiFi security is the problem.

Loose Connection are quite good - their wifi is quite fast and reliable, plus it's installed in some (mostly) quite good pubs: http://www.looseconnection.com/brighton/
I think you're right about security. I'm very wary about what I input by way of passwords etc. as you really don't know whether someone's put some sort of sniffer (or whatever they're called) on their network upstairs.
Oh what fun when we can sit on the beach and surf the net. Cor blimey - i despair sometimes. I think its time to start a 'what makes me grumpy' thread.
