| Totally off-topic (but I don't care) - I'm becoming increasingly annoyed by this execrable modern habit of saying 'males' and 'females' instead of 'men' and 'women' -it sounds horrible. Any chance of reverting to the good old english terms, anyone? |

Quite, Mim. Wise words we should have applied much earlier in his career...
But...Tombstone has a point there, too. I used the terms `males` & `females`, because the former covers both women and girls, and males both boys and men. It`s not just me being lazy, it`s not just young teenage girls seeking abortions, and it`s not just young teenage boys that are the fathers. I`m sorry, but you can`t just call them `men`, when they`re old enough to reproduce but not old enough to shave. And it`s unfair to call a scared pregnant schoolgirl a woman. |
