The company claims it does not have the capacity to export the cars. Of course they could always merge with some of the Western giants of the automotive industry however I doubt that the car would remain as economical.

As it stands the car has no heating/airconditioning - the dashboard controls are said to have fewer instruments on them then the average pocketwatch. The Nano, having very good consumption ratio at 65mph, has an engine of just over 600cc.
I doubt me very much that it will cause a huge impact on the European market.
