| While I agree that homework is rather counter productive at the primary school level I cannot accept the reasoning given behind the call for abolishing it. Maybe because it sounds like to much of a lowering the playing field in order to level it. I would far sooner see more work done in supporting children from 'deprived' backgrounds in an effective way. |
