Great link - Updates.

Amazing to hear New Labour in the Midlands
that held a council there for 30 odd years
just lost it to the Conservatives.

These are Local Elections of course
not a General Election
but it is Bliss
to see Un Elected Dithering Neo ConservativeNew Labour Brown
get a Kicking in the Teeth.

Pure Bliss.

Some have said on Live Radio this morning
that they want Brown to go,
even though this was Local Elections.
And, also from Live Radio, even more are now
saying they will never vote New Labour again.

Dithering Scottish Brown went to the Media today.

On-the-brink Brown admits 'I feel responsible, there are no excuses' as he faces 'stalking horse' leadership challenge

But he is still going to go ahead with the 42 day detension bill.
He is a Solo performer,
scared and unable to do the Job.

Roll on the Election.

I wonder if we had had the interweb back in the days of the last Tory regime whether LTNS would have been against EVIL Thatcher/Major. Is this just a new Labour thing, I wonder, or would it apply to any party in power? So, was Thatcher/Major Tory govt. EVIL too?

Remember, LTNS?

There have been 76 Prime Ministers since Robert Walpole

Of these, 40 have been unelected, they are:

Robert Walpole, 1721
The Earl of Wilmington 1742
Henry Pelham 1743
The Duke of Newcastle 1754
The Duke of Devonshire 1756
The Earl of Bute 1762
George Grenville 1763
The Marquess of Rockingham 1765
William Pitt the Elder 1766
The Duke of Grafton 1768
Lord North 1770
The Earl of Shelburne 1782
Henry Addington 1801
William Pitt the Younger 1804
Lord Grenville 1806
The Duke of Portland 1807
Spencer Perceval 1809
The Earl of Liverpool 1812
George Canning 1827
Viscount Goderich 1827
Duke of Wellington 1828
Viscount Melbourne 1834
Robert Peel 1834
The Earl of Derby 1852
The Earl of Aberdeen 1852
Benjamin Disraeli 1868
The Earl of Rosebery 1894
Arthur James Balfour 1902
Herbert Henry Asquith 1908
David Lloyd George 1916
Andrew Bonar Law 1922
Stanley Baldwin 1935
Neville Chamberlain 1937
Winston Churchill 1940
Sir Anthony Eden 1955
Harold Macmillan 1957
Alec Douglas-Home 1963
James Callaghan 1976
John Major 1990
Gordon Brown 2007

The dates are when they assumed the office, although some later went on to win elections in their own right.

So 52% of them were unelected

Even since the beginning of the 20th century, 50% were unelected (26 PM's 13 unelected)

The most common way that a politician becomes prime minister is due to the resignation or death of their predecessor

An opinion poll in a national newspaper
puts the Conservatives
26% ahead
of New Labour - with the Government's rating
said to be the lowest since records began in 1930
.

It is Time For Un Elected Warmonger Brown
to Stand Down.

So - 85% of Daily Mail readers think Gordon Brown should resign. I think the real question is who are the 15% who read the Mail and DON'T think he should resign. Worrying, that.

By the way, 98% of all online surveys are crap. Look at the Ron Paul results on online polls and his actual results in the primaries to see how easily they can be manipulated.

New Labour's Crewe Cut: 'Brown Doesn't Get It'

Conservatives spectacular victory
in the
Crewe and Nantwich by-election - seizing
the formerly safe Labour seat by almost 8,000 votes.

Out going Un Elected Scottish Brown

Labour got a hiding, that is true.
They would have got this anyway. If Golden Balls B'Liar had still been PM all things would have been the same.
10p tax, oil price, recession etc.
He just knew when to jump ship, shame really, I would have loved to see him grin his way out of this one.
