again it comes from the mail I thought that was a "New Labour " paper?
the judge is out of order I home the home secretary intervenes on this one and make it go to a higher court so he can get his just deserts!! |

| That judge is certainly out of touch with reality. As for an 11 year old child being capable? Whether she is or isn't is quite frankly immaterial ... an adult should be able to restrain him/herself. |

First, let me make it clear that I do NOT condone the actions of the judge nor of the accused in this case.
However, IF this 11 year-old is as precocious as is claimed, surely someone should be looking into why she`s behaving this way...? |

| Maybe Anubis however in view of this latest, I really do think we need to seriously review the decisions of some judges. And it is clear to me that some judges need to be forced to take a long hard look at reality. |

A child who joins a riot would generally be following friends or parents. They will have been indoctrinated, as in Northern Ireland for instance.
In the case of sexual active teenager or pre-teenager, whatever has led to their behaviour should not be a reason for an adult to succumb to it.
As for judges. They usually have no idea about about life.

My fear over the last ten years is that it is soooooo politically correct to hang a young man by his offending appendage that all fairness and justice is ignored in a teenage sex offender case. But I cannot see how THIS particular case could be allowed to stand. It is just so off the charts as to age difference that some punishment, even if it is for a total lack of judgment on the part of the 20 year old, should be administered.
PS At first I thought that picture was that of the eleven year old girl. That is really a stupid photo for an article about this subject
