perhaps it will solve all of brightons housing needs in the same way that greggs has made london road a crime free beautiful area with wild horses roaming rolling plains of buttercup studded meadows
lovely to see the argus stating the "disabled bay" is being used by the "able bodied drivers". Ok the "disabled bay" was removed while building the NEQ. Hence the faded paint. It was converted to and reinforced as the Fleet Street Bus stop but as yet has not yet been repainted as fleet street has not been "re-adopted" and is not recognised by NCP. So they are in fact parking in the bus stop, not a disabled bay.
It was hyped up as some sort of urban-utopia. I mean New England Quarter FFS! Now, look at the result. Flats lacking the very basic services you'd expect and a Sainsburys. Brilliant. It's not finished yet so I assume they've still got something very special up their sleeve to enable this area to be something other than a commuter ghetto.
Its like a high-cost Ashton Rise. In fact, they stand opposite each other at just about the same height. Urban planning has really moved on hasn't it?
They lack people of the calibre for it. Look at that horrible Tesco building in Hove. Makes the one here in Portslade look like Florence in the Renaissance.
